For hospitals, nonprofits, and public agencies

Kave describes your program to people who are trying to use it. Here is how to make sure that description is right.

Listing is not for sale. Kave accepts no payment, sponsorship, commission, or referral fee from any organisation it lists. There is no advertising tier, no featured placement, and no field in the database that could record a commercial relationship. Offers to pay for placement will be declined.

Correct your information

Use the “Report outdated information” button on your page. Corrections from the operating organisation are prioritised. Point Kave at the official document that shows the correct value — that is what a reviewer needs to publish a change.

Hospitals: get your policy verified

Every Medicare-registered hospital is already listed. A page moves from “Not yet verified” to “Verified” when a reviewer confirms your policy, plain-language summary, application, contact number, and thresholds against your own published documents.

How inclusion works

  • What Kave looks for in a resource

Four gates come before any score. A program that fails one is not listed regardless of how strong it is otherwise:

    1. Meaningful and direct patient value
    2. Verifiable access, eligibility, or pricing
    3. Clearly disclosed limitations
    4. No paid influence over inclusion or ranking

Programs that clear the gates are scored across eight weighted criteria and need 80 out of 100 to be listed. The criteria and weights are published in full.

  • What makes a program easy to verify
    • Eligibility criteria published on your own site, not only on request
    • A price or a cost structure stated before someone applies
    • Limitations and exclusions stated plainly
    • A stable URL for the application that does not move every quarter
    • An effective date on the policy document
    • Translations linked from the same page as the English version
  • What Kave will not do for you
    • Host copies of your documents. Kave links to your own copies.
    • Rank you above a comparable program for any consideration.
    • Remove a limitation from your listing because it is unflattering.
    • Present an unreviewed policy as though it had been reviewed.
